Friday the 13th Wedding

Carmen & Tasha

The love these two are in...

It's deep, mad, and wild beyond belief.

I don't think they stopped smiling once... Not just on their wedding day I mean, but since the very first time they locked their beautiful brown eyes... I'm not even joking; when I sat down with them for our very first initial consultation I asked them what they like to do in there spare time. Their response? Wait for it-

" Mmm, *giggles* look at each other *more giggles* "

Like. Are they for real??

Carmen & Tasha's wedding was as beautiful and unique as they are. It took place on Friday the 13th, they wore all black, and they rocked the hell out of it.

Their wedding took place at Tasha's family's property, inside of her beloved Grandfather's iconic patch roof barn. It was intimate, with only close friends and family, on a 22 degree January afternoon in Oregon.

The ceremony took place in the upstairs of the barn, under string lights and the eyes of loved ones.

From their succulent bouquet & boutonnière, to their Doc Martins in the mud, the adorableness was tipping the scales.

You haven't even heard my favorite part yet ...

As if their day wasn't magical enough as it was, each of them sat down and wrote each other a hand written love letter before the ceremony, that they exchanged over their First Look.

There wasn't a dry eye in the building! I am sort of known in within my family and friends for my lack of crying in appropriate situations (seriously, it's almost worrisome), so for me to cry- that was huge.

Being in the presence of their love is chilling, and needless to say- inspiring.

“ You deserve a lover who wants you disheveled, with everything and all the reasons that wake you up in haste and the demons that won’t let you sleep.
You deserve a lover who makes you feel safe, who can consume this world whole if she walks hand in hand with you; someone who believes that her embraces are a perfect match with your skin. You deserve a lover who wants to dance with you, who goes to paradise every time she looks into your eyes and never gets tired of studying your expressions. You deserve a lover who listens when you sing, who supports you when you feel shame and respects your freedom; who flies with you and isn’t afraid to fall. You deserve a lover who takes away the lies and brings you hope, coffee, and poetry. ”
