Alone Time

Olivia & Tanner

" a sea of whiskey couldn't intoxicate me as much as a drop of you "

Let's just start by saying....

These-two-are-HAWT! The way these two look at each other, touch each other... you can practically see the passion, dripping from their perfect pours.

Olivia and Tanner are young, hardworking, rockstar parents. They rarely get time to themselves, let alone photographic memories of it. So they sent the kiddos to Grandma's house and bared it all!

I originally knew Olivia from the dreaded days of High School. (Thank God those days are long gone amIright?!) I also had the pleasure of doing newborn photos of one of her sweet baby boys.

My gut had been aching to get my hands on an In-Home session, and I knew of Olivia and Tanner's recent engagement (via mild social media stalking). I noticed they had not (posted yet, anyway) any formal engagement photos (also per my social media stalking) ... I thought to myself how perfect they would be, and I already knew how adorable their house was (from that time I did those newborn photos). So I asked Olivia if her and Tanner would be my first!

Olivia and Tanner were a dream to work with. Seriously, they were so comfortable. They were laid back, funny, playful, and easy to talk to. We drank mimosas and Limoncello (this was a first for me! ... and quite possibly the last lol). From kitchen dancing, to couch snuggles, to stripping it down in the bedroom. They were naturals. They let me into their home and into their love, and I'm so glad they did. This Let's Stay In engagement session with Olivia & Tanner will forever be a favorite of mine.

" I'd say that the saying 'everything happens for a reason' really encompasses our love story...

Our love is no fairy tale. From day one it's been full of trials, obstacles, sleepless nights and poopy diapers. But, at the end of every day I never imagined being with anyone else. I can't imaging living this crazy, dramatic, wonderful, beautiful life with anyone else but Tanner. He knows exactly how to drive me insane, but in the next moment he brings me back to earth and I forget why I was even upset. I've always said that it's important to find someone that you can imagine sitting next to while your youngest child graduates, grab their hand, and start planning your own adventures together.

Tanner is my person.

He always has been, he always will be. I am so nervous for the moment I officially say 'I do' ... but let's be honest, I did that a long time ago. "
