My name is Emery (she/her)

I am a birth and family photographer in Eugene, Oregon, serving Eugene, Springfield, Corvallis, Salem, and surrounding areas.

From day one, I will respectfully support you in whatever ways you desire and capture your unique experience with quiet confidence. My superpower is that I am both a wallflower and a grounding presence. I know when to blend into the background, capturing raw, intimate moments without intrusion- but I’m also here to support, advocate, and celebrate alongside you as part of your birth team.

My passion for birth stories fully ignited after the birth of my daughters. Looking back over my own birth stories and seeing the furrowed brow of my concerned husband, or the supportive touch that means “I love you, you’ve got this,” enables me to relive those moments all over again. Not only that, but it helped me to process and heal trauma from my first experience as well. I believe everyone deserves to have these healing memories to cherish and look back on.

Beyond my passion for capturing beautiful moments, I’m a mom to two young kids, so I understand how chaotic and wonderful family life can be. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll often find me playing outside with my kids, experimenting with baking projects, or getting my hands dirty in the garden. I also love tackling home projects, taking long walks, and binge-watching a good series. Forever chasing the high of checking something off my to-do list, I find joy in creativity and a touch of structure.

Photography has always been a love of mine, and I’m especially fond of experimenting with different film types in my vintage cameras. There’s something magical about the tactile, intentional process of film photography that complements the energy I bring to my family sessions.
